Residents Assured of Confidentiality in their Interactions with the Royal Montserrat Police Service

The Royal Montserrat Police Service is reassuring residents that their interactions with the force will be handled with the highest levels of confidentiality.

Acknowledging that concerns over confidentiality have been a longstanding issue, Commissioner of Police Mark Payne says residents can trust that any information reported to the police will be kept secure and shared only with relevant stakeholders on a need-to-know basis.

Commissioner Payne made these comments following a rise in reported domestic violence cases on Montserrat, which he attributes to an increase in individuals coming forward to seek help.
