Newly Elected Ministers of Government Visit Key Ministries and Departments

Newly elected ministers of government engaged in a joint tour of key public sector ministries and departments on Monday.

Honorable Veronica Dorsette-Hector, honorable John Osborne, Dr the honorable Ingrid Buffonge, and honorable Dwayne Hixon were on the tour.

Premier the honorable Reuben Meade was unable to attend, being preoccupied with another engagement in his official capacity of premier.

The new ministers were given a warm reception at each ministry and department, including gifts at their individual ministries.

They visited the office of the premier; ministry of finance and economic management; cabinet secretariat; office of the deputy governor; legislature; attorney general’s chambers; office of the auditor general; Ministry of Agriculture, lands, housing, and the environment; Ministry of Communications, works, labor, and energy; the police and fire departments combined; ministry of health and social services; social security; and the ministry of education.

The ministers each expressed eagerness to begin working with the ministries and departments to advance Montserrat’s socio-economic development.
