MSS To Get Cafeteria While $300,000 Are Allocated To Maintain Houses
Minister with responsibility for Housing, Honourable Crenston Buffonge says the availability of funds allocated to the ministry in the recently-passed Appropriation Bill in Parliament will ensure that maintenance works can now be executed.
Minister Buffonge says the more than 300-thousand dollars allocation will concentrated on the warden-assisted housing sector.
Montserrat Secondary School To Get Cafeteria
Plans are in place to provide a cafeteria space for the staff and students of the Montserrat Secondary School, MSS.That’s according to Minister of Education, Honourable Charles Kirnon.
Minister Kirnon was answering questions from Opposition Member, Honourable Donaldson Romeo, during Tuesday’s sitting of the Legislative Assembly.
The Education minister said a plan has been finalized for the construction of a building, to include a cafeteria, for the school.
The minister also voiced he would not support the closure of MSS if it were found to not meet British regulations. He says adjustments should be made until an adequate facility is provided.
