Residential Tourism Benefits from Safe and Secure Access to Montserrat
The unprecedented development experienced by Montserrat in the 1980’s and 90’s pre-volcano was based on reliable and safe air access.
The point was made by retired senior civil servant Jim Bass, who was at the time paying tribute to National Hero W. H. Bramble.
Bass, who has been at the forefront of efforts to improve connection for Montserrat, says residential tourism benefited from having safe and secure access into the island.
