Update on the Status of the New Hot Mix Plant
The acting Minister for Works, Honourable Veronica Dorsette-Hector has stopped short of confirming that a recent on-site incident at the Asphalt plant in Brades is the reason for the delay in the programme of road rehabilitation duties for the new Hot Mix plant.
Speaking in Parliament Tuesday, Mrs Dorsette-Hector revealed that the incident occured when an equipment operator accidentally pressed against and damaged a discharge pipe on the emulsion tank.
