A Ferry has Been Acquired to Operate Between Montserrat and Antigua
The Government of Montserrat has acquired a ferry to operate between Antigua and Montserrat with special arrangements for a Nevis leg.
Premier the Honourable Joseph Farrell has reported that a contract has been signed between Government and the owner of the ferry.
Meantime, the regular fares and fees comprise adult fare one-way $275 and $550 return; a child 3 to 12 years $125 one way and $250 return; an infant less thsan 3 years $30 and $50 return.
Change fee is $25.
Baggage allowance is two cases and $50 for each additional suitcase.
The regular fares include the applicable Montserrat taxes – embarkation tax of $25 and seaport security charge of $10.
Day tour fare of $400 return (including Montserrat taxes on Montserrat to Antigua route and Montserrat to Nevis route.
