Deputy Premier Dr. The Hon. Samuel Joseph attends Digital Week in Cameroon

Deputy Premier Dr. The Hon. Samuel Joseph is presently in Yaoundé, Cameroon, Africa attending Cameroon Digital Week, which takes place from October 16 to 20th.

The event's theme, "Towards a Digital Future," brings together key stakeholders, including Ministers, innovators and Government officials from across the Commonwealth to discuss ideas and initiatives for digital transformation in the African region.

Montserrat received a special invitation to participate in this event, extended by Secretary General of CTO, Miss Bernadette Lewis. This invitation was based on Montserrat's notable progress in digital transformation and The Minister’s experience in ICT.

Minister Joseph delivered a presentation on Tuesday October 17, 2023, during Session 1 of the Ministerial and Parliamentary Seminar. The presentation, titled "Transforming a Nation," delved into the Digital Transformation Imperatives for Nation Building.

It aims to explore Montserrat's approach to incorporating ICT into its operations to enhance government efficiency, resilience, and service delivery to its citizens, regardless of their location.
