Tasha P Gives High Praise for Queen of Queens Show

Tasha “Tasha P” Peltier has given the thumps up to Montserrat for staging the regional female calypso competition.

Peltier represented Dominica in the Queen of Queens Competition on December 30th.

She placed 1st runner up amongst 9 competitors.

She said she was grateful for having had the opportunity and felt privileged to have been ranked with the best of the Caribbean Calypso Women.

Tasha P declared that the show was of a high standard and her 1st Runner Up position gives her more hope that one day, Dominica will take the Caribbean by storm again and will emerge as the winner of the show.

Tasha was also grateful for the support she received from Dominicans living in Montserrat, namely her former Spanish and History teacher, Audris Jno Baptiste.

She also congratulated her fellow participants who represented their islands, including the Winner Terri Lyons and 3rd place Kareen Asche.
