The Ministry of Agriculture to Launch Breadfruit and Mango Fest Later this Month
The Ministry of Agriculture is set to launch a breadfruit and Mango Fest later this month.
The festival, which is carded for August 28th from 11 am to 7 pm, will be held at the Montserrat National Trust.
Agricultural specialist, Kevin Crooks, who is the lead on the initiative, says the primary objective of the event is to generate a product that can be developed into business for export.
He says there are three competitions that fall under the festival, namely, the Product Development Competition, the Mango Eating Competition and the cooking competition.

Leading up to the fest, a pub crawl has been organized for the 27th, starting from Miga’s bar in Salem from 6 PM.
