Over 25 Businesses Benefited from Government’s EDS Programme So Far
Premier the Honourable Joseph Farrell has hailed the success of the Enterprise Development Scheme…EDS.
27 business have received funding so far under the programme that was developed by the Government of Montserrat to support business innovation, grow employment, and strengthen existing and emerging businesses on Montserrat.
Premier Farrell, Deputy Premier Dr. the Honourable Samuel Joseph and Minister of Agriculture the Honourable Crenston Buffonge visited 4 of the businesses this week.
They wanted to see first hand how the EDS funding has helped the businesses develop and what extra help, if any, is needed.
The sites visited were Jaxxons Winery, A & J Pig Farm, Sierra and the 4D Farm project.
Premier Farrell says there is still funding available to assist young persons who have business ideas.
