Opportunities Available for Young Persons on Montserrat in the British Military
With unemployment and cost-of-living on the rise all over the world, there are opportunities for young people in the British Navy.
So says Captain of the HMS Protector, Maryla Ingham.
She says the Navy can provide persons here with rare opportunities to work and earn qualifications.
Captain Ingham says there are no academic entry requirements in order to join the British military, although individuals would still need to be physically fit.
She adds that it is easier for British or British Overseas Territories passport holders to apply for the British military.
