Gas Prices Dip Just Below $20 for the First Time in 5 Months

Good news for motorists here. The Trade and Quality Division in the Office of the Premier has announced that regular gas is back on island.

Residents can now expect to see regular gas available at the pumps effective immediately, as well as a decrease in prices across the board.

According to the latest Price List issued by the Trade and Quality Infrastructure division, effective August 10th, regular gas is being sold at $19.01 per gallon.

Premium gas is now being sold at $19.92, down from the $22.10 per gallon the previous month.

Diesel is being sold $18.65 per gallon, another slight decrease from $21.01.

Over the past several months, the island has been without regular gas thus forcing residents to purchase premium gas.

Premium gas peaked to $22.90 on July 11th.
