Members of Parliament Called Upon to Improve Governance on the Island
Members of the Montserrat Legislative Assembly have important roles to play in building public confidence in the government and its operations.

Lister, Who was a guest on the Speaker’s Chair radio programme on ZJB, reminds that parliamentary scrutiny acts as an important inspection system of the Government.
He says this also helps improve government policies, legislation and public services, which in turn gives the public confidence that the government is accountable.
