Repeated Call for Government of Montserrat to Ease Burden of Spiraling Petroleum Products Costs on Residents
An outspoken local economist and financial analyst is again pleading with the government of the day to put measures in place to cushion the effects that spiraling petroleum products are having on the public.
Peter Queeley says Montserrat is the only OECS Territory that has not fallen in line in an effort to ease the burden on its people.
Mr Queeley says the ripple effect of increasing petroleum prices in Montserrat is making it difficult for people to survive.
