The President of the Caribbean Development Bank Pledges the Institutions Support to Montserrat’s Ongoing Infrastructural Development

President of the Caribbean Development Bank…CDB Dr. Hyginus ‘Gene’ Leon has pledged the bank’s continued support to Montserrat during the island’s ongoing stages of development.
Dr. Leon, alongside Senior Advisor to the President, Dr. Shelton Nicholls made a courtesy visit to the island on Thursday.
While on island, Doctors Leon and Nicholls were taken on a site visit of CDB-funded projects and projects under the Basic Needs Trust Fund… BNTF to include the old Salem Primary School, the Lawyer’s road, the Davy Hill Community Centre and Shinland/Nixon’s Road.
Just minutes before his departure, Dr Leon in his comments said that the CDB plans to collaborate with the government here to make Montserrat a much stronger community.

Meantime, Premier, the Honourable Joseph Farrell welcomes the commitment of technical support from the bank to aid Montserrat in achieving its strategic goals and visions.
