A Call for Stronger Action to Deal with Quarantine Breakers
The government has been called upon to deal with persons who breach quarantine protocols.
There have been numerous reports of quarantine breaches but no one has been prosecuted to date.
It is the view of many that the COVID-19 outbreaks in February and December 2021 was caused by the failure of persons to adhere to the rules.
However, Premier the Honourable Joseph Farrell has called on the public to support the government’s efforts to curtail the spread of the virus.
He says some of the breaches that have occurred were persons entering quarantine homes when visitors arrive on the island.
