Health Minister Announces Possible Random COVID-19 Testing Within Schools on Montserrat
Minister for Health, Honourable Charles Kirnon has announced that the ministry is considering random testing of children at the island’s schools.
He made the disclosure while providing an update on the new measures that will come into effect on Tuesday February 1st under the Public Health (COVID-19 Suppression) (No.2) Order, S.R.O. 5 of 2022.
However, Minister Kirnon highlights that this is contingent on the ministry procuring adequate numbers of rapid test kits for the exercise to be rolled out.
