Montserratian Blockchain Researcher and Scientist Talks Risks and Benefits of Investing in Cryptocurrencies
Montserratian Blockchain Researcher and Scientist, Dr Daniel “Danny” Joseph has been talking with the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) about the risks and benefits of investing in cryptocurrencies.
He is encouraging people to engage in proper research and due diligence checks before making such investments.
Speaking on this week’s episode of ECCB Connects, Dr Joseph says a key feature of cryptocurrency is the decentralized financial system which allows an individual to move money across borders without the restrictions of a broker or financial regulator.
However, he outlines the risk factors associated with such operations.
