Flights From Antigua To Resume on Sunday
Flights between Antigua and Montserrat are set to resume on Sunday.
Operations came to a halt on Thursday because the fuel truck that serves the islander aircraft at the V.C Bird International Airport in Antigua developed a mechanical problem.
ZJB News has been reliably informed that the problem is being resolved and flights to Montserrat are expected to resume on October 9.
Access Coordinator Ashley Lindsey confirmed this latest development.
He says approximately 75 persons are being affected since the problem began on Thursday.
The faulty fuel bowser is operated by Signature Flight Support, which also serves other regional and international airlines.
Apart from Fly Montserrat and SVG Air, parcel services such as DHL and FEDEX are also impacted.
