Agriculture Minister Lauds Water Quality Workshop
The Minister for Agriculture, Lands, Housing and the Environment has applauded efforts aimed at improving the conditions of coral reefs here.
Honourable Crenston Buffonge, was at the time welcoming representatives from the Joint Nature Conservation Committee... JNCC and the UK’s Conflict, Stability and Security Fund… CSSF for the ‘Implementing Coral Reef Action Plans for the UK Overseas Territories Coral Reef Initiative’ workshop.
He says that although Montserrat can pride itself in the quality of water it provides, there are still several factors that can be improved upon to keep it that way.

The four-day workshop is a UK-funded project, part of collaborative efforts from JNCC and CSSF to monitor the quality of water to improve the condition of coral reefs is in progress here.
The workshop, a combination of presentations, discussions and on-field training, concludes on Friday October 7.
