Montserrat to Undergo Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing Evaluation in 2024
Montserrat’s Deputy Commissioner of Police has underscored the importance of the island meeting its obligations to combat money laundering and terrorist financing.
Charles Thompson has confirmed that Montserrat will undergo a mutual evaluation exercise in 2024.
He says during the assessment, Montserrat will be held to the international standard as other countries who have put in place measures to combat money laundering and the financing of terrorism and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
