Premier Joseph Farrell Believes this year’s Budget Puts Montserrat on a Path of Sustainable Development
Montserrat’s Premier says the government has taken steps to put the island on a more sustainable path of development.

areas has been created in the budget that are expected to stimulate economic activity.
He notes that this would be in addition to the capital aid programme which already include several projects.

Meantime, Deputy Premier Dr. the Honourable Samuel Joseph says the government has a long term plan to rid the island of grant in aid.

The government of Montserrat recently announced a number of new spends for the 2021/2022 financial year.
These included funds fro training, maintenance of family units and MVO building, and an agro processing unit.
