Montserrat to Lead the Sub-region in Court Mediation
The judicial System on Montserrat now boasts 26 new Mediators.
This follows a Court Mediation training workshop organized by the Montserrat High Court, under the auspices of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court.
The programme, which now has 34 mediators, will assist disputed parties in settling contested issues during their cases.
Supreme Court Registrar Colin Meade at an awards ceremony on Thursday, revealed that all 26 participants of the December 7th to the 16th workshop successfully completed the exercise.
They are Cora Galloway, Beverely Mendes, Joyclyn Hogan, Garreth Stanley, Courtney Crump, Janetta White-Samuel, Vanessa White, Peter W.A. White, Amuelle Kirnon, Shivvonne Gerald, Sherasmus Evelyn, Debra Lewis, Collin Fergus, Edris Wade, Sofia Moore, Shelly Ilses, Nicole Duberry, Adena Lee, Marcelle Watts, Courtney Rodney, Renee Morgan, Lovetta Silcott, Cedricia Shield, Oris Sullivan, Kelechi Ohiagu and Colin Meade.

High Court Judge Ian Morley, offered congratulations to the awardees.
He expects Montserrat to now lead the way in court mediation in the Eastern Caribbean jurisdiction.
