Premier Farrell Warns Against Complacency as the 2021 Hurricane Season Begins
Premier, the Honourable Joseph Farrell has warned against complacency as Montserrat braces for another active hurricane season.
In a speech marking the start of the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season, Premier Farrell says residents should not let their guard down even as the island deals with the COVID-19 Pandemic.
He stated that the pandemic has reinforced the need for individuals to protect themselves and their families.
Premier Farrell says persons should follow the advice from officials at the Disaster Management Coordination Agency (DMCA), to stay informed by monitoring communication channels for official information from Government, and update their hurricane preparedness plans for their families and businesses.
