The Energy Unit Plans to Boost Public Awareness on Electric Vehicle
In an effort to boost interest in electric vehicles the Energy Unit has organized an exhibition slated for next month.
The exhibition on June 11th will be at the Ryan Complex and will feature hybrid and full electric vehicles.
It will also provide an opportunity for persons to speak with EV owners, representatives from the Ministry of Communication and Works, Automobile dealers and financial institutions.

Mr Burke is reminding the public that the duty and concessions on these vehicles are set to expire in August.
He says there are still plans in the pipelines to offer additional incentives.

Electric Vehicles are vehicles that are either partially or fully powered on electric power, these vehicles are said to have low running costs as they have less moving parts for maintaining and also very environmentally friendly as they use little or no fossil fuel.
