New School Curriculum to Reflect Montserrat's Culture and Heritage
Montserrat’s new schools’ curriculum should reflect aspects of the island’s culture and heritage.
Director of Education Dr. Gregory Julius says that is the focus of the Ministry of Education.
Dr Julius announced on Tuesday that work was well advanced on the new syllabus, expected to be completed within the year.
Dr Julius is encouraging parents and other stakeholders to provide support when and where required, as the curriculum would not only affect the students but the wider Montserrat community.
