Senior Officer Denies Double Standards in Traffic Investigation Involving Police Officers
A senior officer has responded to claims that the Royal Montserrat Police Service practices a double standard when investigating traffic accidents involving its own officers.
Inspector Courtney Rodney, says the procedure applies to all members of the community, regardless of their status.
His comments followed recent criticism of how the RMPS handles cases, when its own officers are involved in the investigation.
However, speaking on the most recent edition of Drive Time, Mr. Rodney denied that there is favoritism.
