Visitors to Montserrat Encouraged to Adhere to All COVID-19 Protocols

As Nationals continue to muse over the hybrid nature of the 2021 St. Patrick’s Festival of activities, Premier, the Honourable Joseph Farrell has been strong on ensuring that extra caution is displayed even though there are no laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases on Montserrat.

It’s been reported that several nationals in the diaspora have already booked to come home during the scheduled period for the scaled-back and mostly virtual activities.

However, Premier Farrell says although persons have already made arrangements to come to Montserrat, they must be aware that COVID-19 protocols are in full effect to which they must comply.

Premier Farrell says the government is and will be stepping up vigilance generally on persons in quarantine and not just for persons coming in for the St. Patrick’s period.

He hints that they have been receiving reports of persons not adhering to quarantine and other protocols.

Premier, the Honourable Joseph Farrell.
