The St. Patrick’s Cooperative Credit Union Soon to Launch Dcash - a Blockchain-based, Digital Cersion of the Eastern Caribbean (EC) Dollar
Customers at the St Patrick’s Cooperative Credit Union… SPCCU will soon be able to send money instantly to family, friends, and businesses within the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) in the near future.
This, as the institution works toward the launch of Dcash - a blockchain-based, digital version of the Eastern Caribbean (EC) dollar, that seeks to create greater financial inclusion in the ECCU, as well as increase economic growth and business opportunities.
This was revealed by General Manager of the SPCCU Peter Queeley.
He says the initiative will be rolled out in the next coming weeks.
