An Official Launch Date Set for Government's Remote Workers' Programme

An official launch date has been announced for Government’s Remote Workers’ programme.

That date is Friday January 29th 2021.

ICT Coordinator Loni Howe, speaking at a town hall meeting on Wednesday, where the Remote Workers’ programme was discussed.

The marketing and branding of the programme will be done by Bass Consultancy Services.

Its founder Vernaire Bass revealed that applicants must obtain a remote worker’s visa to be a part of the programme, that is designed to boost various sectors including tourism and retail.

Individual visas will cost USD$500, Couples - USD$500 each (EC$1,350) and a Family visa - USD$750 (EC$2,025).

Bass added that besides getting a visa and satisfying the working requirements, there are other criteria to be met.
