Montserrat Joins Global Shorebird Count
Montserrat continues to demonstrate its commitment to a global initiative to monitor shorebirds.
The Department of Environment recently wrapped up the annual shorebirds survey , which is part of the Global Shorebird Counts, held every year around early September.
Environment Officer Ajhermae White says this serves to inform local conservation practices.
White says the survey, has been uneventful so far.

World Shorebirds Day and Global Shorebird Count is being celebrated from September 3 to 9 2020.
