The Ministry of Education to Recruit Additional Teachers for the Upcoming Academic Year
The Ministry of Education says steps are ongoing to recruit teachers for the new school term.
Director Dr. Gregory Julius says candidates are being interviewed for the teaching positions at the various schools.
The recruiting of teachers this year has been affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Nevertheless, Dr. Julius says plans are well advanced to have the vacancies filled.
Dr. Julius says to alleviate the shortage that affects the system each year, graduating students should be encouraged to become teachers.
