Eligible Persons To Receive Covid-19 Assistance This Week
Montserrat’s leader of government business has said that persons who were eligible to receive assistance under the COVID-19 Stimulus package will be paid by the end of this week.
Premier, the Honourable Joseph Farrell was responding to a question from opposition member Donaldson Romeo on whether or not all who applied under the employment and business retention, and assistance programme for COVID-19 relief have been paid.
Premier Farrell said while the process was difficult for some, it was not wrong….stressing that where eligible persons found difficulties, it was up to elected representatives to find ways to assist residents.
