Ministry of Agriculture Invites Participation in Backyard Gardening Competition
“Grow it. Reap it. Eat it.”
That is the theme for the Department of Agriculture’s 2020 Backyard Garden Competition.
The competition, which will run from July 27 to August 7 is being divided in 5 categories - Production Under Shelter, Container Gardens, Backyard Garden Open Field, Youth (12 and under) and Youth ( 13-18).
Agricultural Officer Melvin Lindsey, who is assigned to the project, explains the criteria.
