Governor Pearce and Premier Farrell Express Optimism During Christmas Messages
His Excellency Governor Andrew Pearce believes Montserrat will pull through during the coronavirus pandemic.
He expressed this confidence during his Christmas Day message on Friday.
Governor said residents here rose to the challenge posed by COVID-19 in 2020 and the island will emerge stronger and better.

Meantime Premier the Honourable Joseph Farrell said 2020 was a very challenging year for the island.
In his address to the nation on Christmas Day he described the coronavirus as the worst global health pandemic in modern times.
However, he said light is at the end of the tunnel as the government continues to find ways to stimulate the economy and protect the population.
