The Government of Montserrat Works on Legislation to Ensure Internet is Safe for All Users
The Government of Montserrat is working on legislation and policies to protect residents and visitors from Cybercrimes.
The assurance is coming from Deputy Premier, Dr., the Honourable Samuel Joseph,
And this, as the government prepares to roll out its remote working programme.
Dr. Joseph says several agencies, including the police will be working to ensure the internet is safe for all users.
He says the ministry of communications, works energy and labour is planning some public engagement sessions on cybersecurity.
