More Good News on the New Hospital Project
The Government of Montserrat is on target to receive the final design option of the new hospital development next month.
Minister of Health the Honourable Charles Kirnon confirmed in the Legislative Assembly that the design team is on schedule and will soon present their initial drawing.
He reported that they are halfway through the preliminary design.
Meantime, Mr. Kirnon said the contract for the renovation of the staffroom at the Montserrat Secondary School has been awarded.
Preliminary work on restoring the L & M block to provide adequate space for students and teachers is ongoing.
To this end the design for strengthening the buildings will be completed shortly and is expected to go to tender by the end of November.
