Former Chief Minister Makes Strong Case For Reparations
A former Chief Minister of Montserrat is making a strong case on the premise of reparations for Her Majesty’s government to provide the necessary funding to help the island in especially this current COVID-19 crisis.
David S. Brandt says he has a different view from from those persons in high positions who think that when Montserrat asks Britain for money to satisfy its reasonable needs, that it is begging the British.
He is asking the government, the opposition, plus other key stakeholders to get together and put Montserrat’s case strongly to the British that help is needed, and that at least, Britain should help the Emerald Isle in the same manner as they help those from the mainland
