Premier Taylor-Farrell Calls Financial Aid Talks Meaningful
Montserrat’s leader of government business has hailed the just-ended week of budgetary talks with the UK Financial Aid Mission (FAM) as a meaningful and highly successful endeavor.
Premier, the Honourable Easton Taylor Farrell said although the meetings were new to his government, they were able to learn from the exposure as well as to provide their own input into the discussions.
Speaking on behalf of the UK government, Deputy Director in the Foreign Office responsible for Montserrat and the other OTs, Adam Pile, said the week was a very productive one. He articulated that there were some very constructive discussions which no doubt would redound to the benefit of the mutual partnership between the UK government and the government of Montserrat
