Kara Makes Donation to Meals on Wheels

Jewelry maker and Montserrat native, Kara Jeffers, presented a $500 donation to the Meals on Wheels programme.

The cheque was presented to the Meals on Wheels Chairperson Kenneth Scotland.

Mrs. Jeffers, who resides and works in the United Kingdom, also volunteers as an event first aider for St. John’s Ambulance Service alongside making handmade jewelry.

The donation made to the Meals on Wheels programme was a percentage of her sales from her jewelry products under the trade name KaeJae’s

Mr. Scotland thanked Mrs. Jeffers and her husband for their contribution, and outlined how this and other donations contribute to the work of Meals on Wheels.
