UWI Five Islands Interim Chancellor Visits
Interim Vice Chancellor and Principal of the UWI 4th Landed Campus in Antigua on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Premier, the Honourable Easton Taylor Farrell. The Vice Chancellor also met with senior officials within the Ministry of Education as well as other stakeholders.
Professor Griffith said his discussions also focused on how Montserrat can leverage opportunities to develop and upgrade the qualifications of its citizens at the Five Islands Campus.
According to the intercensal population count and labour force survey conducted in 2018, 21% of the population of Montserrat has completed university level education.
The Five Islands Campus began operations on August 25, 2019 and offers a suite of programmes across three schools: Health and Behavioural Sciences; Humanities and Education; Management, Sciences and Technology.
