Sarline Gibbons is Miss Teen 2019

Sarline Gibbons is Miss Teen 2019, blowing away the competition to capture the covetous title.

Gibbons, who also selected as miss photogenic amassed 685 points, winning best introduction and best interview. She also performed consistently in the other judged segments.

Rondine Daley was adjudged 1st runner up with 670 points. She also walked away with prizes for the miss congeniality, and best casual wear segment.

With 640 points, Jamila Davis placed 2nd runner up, winning best Talent and Best Evening wear. The Best Platform Presentation Segment was won by Girandi Alcala.

Fenyx Productions produced the 2019 Teen Pageant for the first time, under the theme Melanin Magic. The show through its theme, celebrated the beauty of black women, something that is commonly dismissed in mainstream media as Eurocentric beauty standards are upheld.

Founder of Fenyx Creations Joannah Richards said last night’s show culminated months of training and development with the contests.

Richards says the team is motivated and ready to work with another crop of young ladies to groom them in preparation for Miss Teen 2020.
