Barbadian Artist Creates Mural For Brades Primary

The Brades Primary school children will notice a difference after returning from their Christmas break, when they see that the school premises has new artwork on its walls.

Barbadian artist Daniel Alleyne, currently visiting Montserrat to facilitate the Sip and Paint event at Tropical Mansion Suites, wanted to give back to the community. Originally intending on working together with the students, Alleyne had to move on to Plan B and create a mural instead, as the school was closed for the Christmas season.

Mr. Alleyne stated that from a very young age, he was always interested in drawing and being creative and wants to encourage people to expose their creative side. With this being his first visit to the island, Alleyne also spoke on the appreciation he has for Montserrat as he feels that it is just like a close community.
