Montserrat Ferry Service Tendering Process Begins

The Government of Montserrat on Friday announced that tenders are being accepted for a new one-year contract for the Montserrat Ferry Service.

Potential bidders are asked to submit tenders for the Montserrat ferry service to operate a fully crewed vessel between Montserrat and Antigua, with occasional services to other neighbouring islands. 

The contract is expected to take effect from Monday, October 1, 2018 for a period of 12 months.

The ferry procurement process is being conducted by the Office of the Premier with support from the Ministry of Finance and Economic Management, and is regarded as a critical aspect of Montserrat’s development agenda.
