Government Minister Reveals Plans To Upgrade Communities

The Honourable Minister responsible for Communications Works and Labour Paul Lewis has expressed the Governments intention to rebuild and upgrade communities across Montserrat.

Lewis, speaking at the handing over ceremony for the Davy Hill sidewalk on Saturday May 12th, highlighted some of the work already done by the Government following its partnership with Montserrat Branch of the British Red Cross.

Lewis also took the opportunity to commend and acknowledge the key stakeholders who assisted with the completion of the project.

The sidewalk project was funded by the Red Cross and the Volcano Relief Fund.

Vice President of the Davy Hill Community Action Group Emile Duberry called on residents to join forces to help rebuild the island through community development.
