DPP Addresses Claims of Inadequate Preparation
The Director of Public Prosecutions here has dismissed allegations that his office has not been putting in the requisite amount of work required at criminal and other court cases to get favourable results
Oris Sullivan says the accusations which have appeared mostly on social media are so far from the truth.
In addressing the claims on the Breakfast Show Friday, Mr. Sullivan explained that many were not aware of the amount of preparation that has gone into a criminal trial in particular.
He has set about to clarify the suggesting of insufficient preparation where the DPP’s office is concerned.
Mr. Sullivan also points out that there are many different considerations when it comes to criminal cases being placed before the court.
