United Kingdom Conservation Forum to Continue Work in Montserrat

The United Kingdom Conservation Forum (UKCF) is planning to extend its work in Montserrat; this time to battle invasive species.

UKCF's Dr. Mike Pienkowski reported that the first phase of the organization's work in Montserrat is nearing an end, but the next project is likely to focus on combating feral animals.

He says the animals, which became wild after the volcano erupted more than 20 years ago, is a serious threat to Montserrat's eco system.
