MAC4 Art Exhibition Now Open to the Public

An art exhibition featuring the outstanding work of local artists has opened at the Montserrat National Trust in Salem .

The Montserrat Arts Council is staging the exhibition, tagged MAC4, in conjunction with the Montserrat National Trust.

MAC4 is a celebration of visual artists and will feature four creatives working on Montserrat; Llewellyn Brown, Cordella Yearwood, Jim Brown and Adolphus Weekes.

The exhibition, which has become a staple part of the End of Year Festival line-up, will open to the public from Tues. 11th December, and will run for the duration of Festival, closing on January 12th, 2019.

This year the Montserrat Arts Council is partnering with the St. Patrick’s Co-operative Credit Union to host the event.

General Manager Peter Queeley, commends MAC for always finding unique ways of enhancing the Festival.

He says MAC4 has become a welcomed experience that has added a facet to the annual Festival that embraces artistry and commerce.

The exhibition is open for public viewing on weekdays from 9AM to 4PM at the Montserrat National Trust in Salem. There is no admission fee.
