The Ministry of Education will expand technical and vocational subjects at the Montserrat Secondary School.
The announcement was made by Minister, Dr. the Honourable Ingrid Buffonge in her response to the 2026-2027 budget.
Dr. Buffonge, who has been a strong advocate for vocational studies at the MSS, said this would provide students with hands-on, industry-specific skills that directly improve employability and career readiness.
She believes these programs would bridge the gap between education and employment, offering practical experience through apprenticeships and in-demand skills.
