The parliamentary opposition here is questioning the impact of the recent Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) report of 5.5 percent growth for Montserrat on the economic development of the island.
Leader of the Opposition, Honourable Paul Lewis stated that while over the last couple of years there were a few large projects including the Port and the Hospital, the significant budget uploaded has not benefited the island.
Mr Lewis said the large funding in the budget would have contributed somewhat to any calculations in terms of any reflection of growth.
